We also provide complete engineering and installation of all irrigation systems, so everything works just the way it should.

The Role

Opportunity Snapshot
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Branch Manager, you will join a team that includes a mix of five other drivers and installers. As a CDL Driver, you will often be the first line of contact for our customers and your role is critical for the proper handling and installation of our customers’ liquid handling products and services.

You'll drive trucks with capacity greater than three tons, and be responsible for picking up, delivering and unloading company pipe, pumps, frack tanks, storage tanks and other equipment. While the majority of your time will be spent driving, this is a physical role requiring hands-on unloading and sometimes helping with installation.

Role Details
During a typical day, you'll start at the branch, reviewing your schedule (delivery and pick-up tickets), planning via the run sheet, loading equipment, etc. You'll then deliver and help install or pick up rented industrial equipment at customers across multiple industries, including the airport, which has many tanks requiring regular service. Most delivery locations will have easy access, but many will be challenging, with tight/confined construction zones, long backups, or uneven ground. Most days you will drive a 53-foot trailer, but you may also drive an F-550 for parts or other deliveries.

Once you reach your destination, you will do the physical work of offloading your equipment, including doing the hands-on installation as required. Some days you could do 10 equipment moves in a day! Other days, though infrequent, you might be working in the shop on inventory or other tasks because of low delivery demands.

Successful drivers/installers take pride in excelling in the following:
  • Safely delivering, loading/unloading and installing the best water handling systems (irrigation tanks, pipelines, and pumps) to our customers.
  • Applying mechanical ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment such as lubricating nuts and bolts or replacing gaskets and valves.
  • Providing excellent customer service and completing rental orders, sales orders, and providing solutions to our customers.
  • And more.
Note: this description is intended to give you a general overview of the position and is not an exhaustive listing of duties and responsibilities.
